Personal Accident Insurance Policy

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has introduced a Personal Accident Insurance Policy in 2025 designed to provide enhanced financial protection and security for BharatBenz drivers across India. This initiative towards un-named driver insurance reinforces DICV’s commitment to driver welfare and safety.

Key Highlights of the Policy

1. Insurance Coverage up to ₹10 Lakh

Each eligible driver is covered with a Personal Accident Insurance benefit of up to ₹10,00,000, ensuring comprehensive support for accidental injuries, disability or death. The policy has provision to cover Children education up to Rs.10,000 for 2 children in case of accidental death.

2. Beneficiary – BharatBenz Drivers

The policy is exclusively designed for BharatBenz drivers, acknowledging their crucial role in transportation, logistics, and fleet operations.

3. Total number of policies issued in 2025

All retail sales exceeding 20,000 units completed by DICV in the year 2025 are covered under this insurance program. Drivers associated with these vehicles automatically receive the policy benefit.

4. Coverage Across All BharatBenz Models

The insurance policy applies uniformly to all BharatBenz models, ensuring inclusivity and ease of implementation across the full product portfolio.

5. Option to Renew for a Second Year

Customers and drivers have the option to renew the policy for an additional year, ensuring continued protection beyond the initial policy term.
